Welcome to NBCC

New Beginnings Community Church is a Christ-centered ministry of transformation where people grow in grace, connect, serve, give, live, and lead.

It is our mission to witness to people who do not know Christ, while teaching the truth, transforming lives, and touching the world with the love of God, the boldness of Jesus the Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Tim, you really don’t realize how much you and First Lady and ESPECIALLY Momma LaJuana mean to me because I know you pay attention to us all that is what makes NBCC such a great home to be apart of! I’ve been a little lost the last 2 years and I’m finally finding that passion again I use to have prior to losing my mom. Sunday I wasn’t going to come to church and then Lyanna started crying about us missing and at that moment I realized I’m the foundation of her and Demetrius. I love helping in our Church. I love it and it brings me joy but not only joy it helps rebuild who I know I am!

Cherita Stevenson

After meditating on a very serious situation of family members, something about their story seemed surreal. My anger shifted to compassion for the young man because I was this young man before I completely turned my life over to Christ. How many times, Bishop, did you get a call regarding me and my preexisting marriage problems? Yet, you never made me feel less than, in fact, you would find ways to help me to see that there is a way out of this mess. One thing you said that helped me to believe in you as well as myself is when you told me, “Whether you and your spouse make it or not, I love you and believe in you, Ronnie.” It was those very words that help me to feel the love of Christ as it flowed through you! It helped to change my outlook then and now. Thank you for your love and for believing in me.

NBCC is where true transformation has taken place in my life. Now my pass is truly behind me all for the betterment of myself and others around me. My relationship with Jesus is stronger and each day I’m led by the Spirit. I give him total Praise in good times or bad. His strength is truly made perfect in my weakness! Our Pastor is loving and transparent, and anointed in Imparting the living Word of God.w to be more and more like Christ.

Experienced great growth and development spiritually. Pastor Williams and Lady Lisa are awesome teachers in the faith. All that I learned there has been life applicable and it taught me to stay the course. I’m grateful for the life lessons learned.

NBCC is a physical family makes sure you get fed and loved. This is a church your local group of believers will encourage and guide you as you grow spiritually.

UNTOLD STORIES

Expanding the narrative of Christian Blacks in America Our first story is a chapter in the life of a senior sister.  Cohabitating at the tender age of 20 and then married at the age of 32, she struggled for a period of 5 years in a relationship plagued with negative behavior, including verbal and emotional abuse, until she received a release from God to separate herself for her own wellbeing and the wellbeing of her children.  After 36 years of separation, she was led of the Spirit to visit her husband at his home in the south where she found him in poor physical health.  Moved with compassion and by the spirit of forgiveness she stayed 3 months (in obedience to the Spirit) to care for him.  Six years later, against her personal plans and desires, she would be moved

Family Health Care Tips

In fact , due to the lack of options one could argue that now is as important a time as any to remain physically active on purpose. We can’t talk fitness without speaking on overall health. Below you will find 4 key elements to aid in your overall health. Each is vital to overall health which can catapult you into beginning, continuing or taking your active lifestyle to new heights. Breath Taking Breathing is such an underrated prescription. Not only as an automated function of the body but focused breathing has not only physical but also mental health benefits. Find 3 minute spots throughout the day to EXERCISE breathing techniques. Close your eyes, inhale through your nose for

Minimizing the Damage and Maximizing the Potential Tips

Minimizing the Damage and Maximizing the Potential Tips: Marriage: Prayer Prayer with and for each other is the #1 tip. Approaching Gods throne to cast your cares and allow him to fuel your mind, heart and spirit.  Ask God for wisdom, peace, focus healing, and strength. Matthew 18:20 reminds us when 2 or more gather in my name there I am with them.  And as we know We need God in crisis.  Ask God to show you the needs of your spouse during the crisis. Take on a spirit of Humility In times of crisis naturally we default to self protection. However Philippians 2: 3 remindsus Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. As husbands/ wives we are responsible to
